The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program offers employers a financial incentive to hire motivated job seekers and train them on the specific skills needed by your business. New workers learn job-specific skills in a structured “hands-on” environment. As the employer, you can be reimbursed for 50% of the trainee’s wages for up to 6 months of the training period. You get a motivated employee who meets your specific needs and we reimburse you for training them.
SBETA can help you finance and implement customized job training programs for new or existing workers. Customized training merges business needs and job training opportunities into a winning partnership. Businesses contribute up to 50 percent of the cost of the training; we cover the rest.
